best water filtration systems

1 Are there filters to change?

No.  As a company that's been manufacturing for 21 years, we've found the best and effective products to eliminate filters to change.

2 Everybody says they have the best. What can go wrong with your system?

We claim to have the best and we stand behind all of our claims in writing and are tested by third party agencies.  We also will pay a reward of $5000 if any company proves themselves to be better. See (http://www.onewatersystems.com/onewater-challenge.htm).   As with any manufactured product, there is always a small chance of a defect.  But we make sure all components are thoroughly inspected before we have an issue.

3 I know your system requires electricity, what will happen if there's a power outage?

Nothing will happen that will affect your filtration unit.  Electricity is only needed to run the electronic valve and the One Water Systems AMP Force Control unit.  The valve we use now has a battery backup.  So, a minor power outage means less clock adjustments.

4 Is Reverse Osmosis water aggressive or acidic?

R/O systems will drastically lower the pH value of the water. A pH value below 7 is acidic. The normal pH of California area water is approximately 7.8 - the pH value of most R/O processed water will be between 4 and 6 (very acidic).
The pH value of One Water treated water is 7.6 to 7.7 - (assumes a 7.8 input pH value)

5 Is Reverse Osmosis water is healthy water?

R/O units create water that is acidic - bodily fluids are alkaline - R/O water is devoid of minerals. One Water Systems retain the healthy Calcium and Magnesium minerals in our tap water; while filtering away objectionable tastes and odors. Retaining the healthy minerals keeps water's natural pH (generally alkaline); thereby preventing the conversion of alkaline tap water to acidic, demineralized water.

6 Is water that is filtered through a whole house filtration system harmful to my pet?

No.  Untreated water has many contaminants in it.  Animals, like us, don't need them.  One Water Systems removes them, allowing for a more pleasant taste.

7 What if the green lights are blinking?

If green lights are blinking, unplug it from power source, wait at least 30 seconds and then plug it back in. This can happen if you have any type of power surge, it is a safety feature.

If green lights are completely off please check your GFI & breaker box. You can plug something into the power source to check to make sure you do have power at that source that would let you know whether it is your One Water system or your outlet. You can plug in a lamp, hair dryer or anything that will indicate there is power coming through.

8 What kind of maintenance is required?

The great thing about our filtration system is there is virtually no maintenance. We include free annual checkups with your installation. Maintenance free!

9 Why buy from One Water Systems?

After many years of research and development; learning from other technologies and companies, we know that the culmination of seeing what needs to be done and what has to be done is the foundation of our success.

10 Why buy water filtration?

Water, H2O, in its best condition and purist form, would be found streaming on a mountain side; full of oxygen, minerals and flavor. However, most of us live far away from the side of a mountain, so the water has far to go before we can use it.  Contaminants and problems are collected by the sheer distance of travel alone.  So, the need for filtration is a must for creating a healthy H2O.
